A Day at the Beach! (June 15, 2025)

Someone has told me that any Friday that falls on the thirteenth of the month is supposed to be unlucky. However, my day today was perfect, so I am not so sure.

Mr. Alexander and Mr. Cosmo told me and my mother that we were invited to go to visit friends at the shore, so we went to see people with a house that is right on the beach by the Atlantic Ocean! We left New York in the morning in order to drive for one and a half hours to the house. 

When we arrived I could not believe how beautiful everything was!  From the balcony of the house I could see the beach and the ocean, and it would be hard to tell you just how happy I was with the view, especially since I love the water so much. Our host and hostess were incredibly kind, and gave us lunch soon after we arrived. The food was wonderful!  Vegetable salads and cheeses with Italian cold cuts. It could not have been better!

Later I went with my mother and I took a walk along the beach. The weather was perfect as it was not too warm and not too cold, and even the temperature of the ocean was comfortable. We sat on the balcony looking at the ocean before having a dinner of salmon burgers, lobster tails, potato salad, broccoli rabe, filet mignon and Italian bread, followed by excellent Italian pastries for dessert, along with espresso.

The entire day was marvelous.  Soon after dinner we came back to New York, and I cannot imagine a more satisfying time.  My thanks to everyone for making this happen.
