Nana Miyoshi:
A Carnegie Hall Debut to Remember

SUNDAY, MAY 3, 2026 | WEILL RECITAL HALL AT CARNEGIE HALL

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM, eighteen-year-old pianist Nana Miyoshi took the stage of Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall for her solo recital debut — the realization of a goal she has pursued, with extraordinary focus and dedication, since first sitting at the piano at the age of three.

Presented by the Alexander & Buono Foundation in partnership with the Marcello & Graziano Roviaro Foundation, the recital marked the culmination of fifteen years of study, including the past seven under the guidance of Steinway Artist Cosmo Buono. From the opening notes of Bach to the closing flourishes of Liszt, Miyoshi delivered a performance that confirmed everything her earlier appearances at Carnegie Hall had promised: technical command, interpretive depth, and an artistic maturity that belies her years.

For Miyoshi, the afternoon represented far more than a single performance. It was the public unveiling of an artist who has been quietly, methodically, and unwaveringly preparing herself to step onto the world's most legendary stages — and a thrilling glimpse of the career still to come.

The Program

In her own words, Miyoshi described the
personal significance of her programming choices:

"I entered my first competition when
I was nine years old and won, and the piece I played then was by Chopin. Mozart is an important composer to me because when
I was 11 years old, I won the Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition and made my first performance at Carnegie Hall. Beethoven i
s a composer I have a special attachment to and connection with, and Bach is the father of music. And my love of opera naturally led me to Liszt's wonderful opera arrangements."

Next Stop: Suntory Hall, Tokyo

The journey continues. On Sunday, June 28, 2026 (Doors open: 1:30 PM | Performance: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM), Nana Miyoshi will reprise her debut program at Suntory Hall Blue Rose
in Tokyo — one of the most acclaimed concert venues in the world, renowned for its legendary acoustics. For Miyoshi, performing in both within the span of a single season is,
in her own words, "the greatest honor of my career to date."
