Today’s the Day! (June 6, 2025)

I’m very excited.  Today’ the day.  I had my rehearsals with the two singers and everything with very well.  It is very different working with singers because the voice is a human instrument, and not one built with hands.  The work was very interesting and also help me in terms of understanding what it means to be a really good musician.  I learned how to watch and listen to the singers, which is different from watching a conductor.  It was all very helpful.

Ms. Siciliano and I discussed the gowns that we are wearing to the concert, and also for the dinner.  We will both changed.  We also both practiced our bows together and decided that we will both curtsey to the audience.

I will go to Mr. Cosmo’s house to practice some more, and then I will go to the Columbus Citizens Foundation where we are having the recital, and I will rehearse some more with the singers.
