My Wardrobe for New York

It seems hard to imagine, but I will be leaving for New York in a matter of days, and there is no way I can describe how very excited I am.  There is so much to do and prepare, but I am very much looking forward to being there.

Needless to say, part of what is required is that I pack the right clothing for every portion of the trip.  The photo above is of the outfit candidates I have chosen so far. As you can see, I like a great deal of color.

For me, clothing is a way to show respect — not only to the people I meet, but also to the atmosphere and the moment itself. Just as communication begins with respect for others, I believe the way we dress can carry the same spirit, and I want to love the version of myself and the respect that is expressed through what I wear.

Incidentally, one of the essential items for me as a pianist (especially in cold weather) is gloves, which keep my hands warm and my fingers moving well at all times!

Please check back soon, as I will have many more things to share with you!
