Happy Birthday(s)!

Looking over the list of people who were born today, February 24, it was interesting to me  there is no shortage of composers who share this birth date. Let’s take a look at just a few,  one from each century: 

1704—Hubert Renotte, Flemish composer and organist, born in Liège, Prince-Bishopric of  Liège, Holy Roman Empire.

1842—Arrigo Boito, Italian opera composer (Mefistofele), and librettist (Verdi's Falstaff; and  Ponchielli's La Gioconda), born in Padua, Italy 

1905—Guillaume Landré, Dutch composer 

Some of their works you might know, while others are less familiar. Still, I found almost two  dozen composers that were born on this day.
